COMPANY ORIGINS

The History of M.A.R Insurance, began in 1954,
M.A.R stood for Miguel A Rivera.
 
Miguel was a loving Father and one of the 1st Insurance Brokers in the Bronx.
 
He opened one of the 1st Brokerages in the Bronx, selling Insurance during the day and at night selling Boilers to Buildings which were transitioning from Coal heat.
 
He helped Hundreds and Eventually Thousands of HomeOwners, Building Owners, and Small Businesses acquire Insurance.
 
He celebrated over 60 years working and serving the community……….
 
Today MAR continues its legacy, serving for over 70 years
